about Kipu De Newa Homestay
Kipu De Newa Homestay (KDNH) is the Newar Homestay, where you
can stay with helpful and nice family. It is situated in middle part of the
historical and glorious hill town of Newar community, between the narrow path
of chithu road and Gutpou tole. It is 8 Km south west from the centre of
Kathmandu. You can reach the homestay in 20 minutes from Ratnapark by bus and
30 minutes from Tribhuwan International Airport by taxi. It is affiliated to
Kirtipur Community Homestay (KCH) .
KDNH offers 4 rooms including one queen bed with attached
bathroom. You can enjoy with the different series of Newar culture, festival
and heritage too. Also the guest can enjoy with panoramic view of Kathmandu
valley as well as the aravalli of Lantang Mountain. Beside that beautiful
sunrise can be seen from the terrace of the KDNH. The KDNH provides the
delicious organic Newar food in the breakfast,
lunch and dinner. It organizes the different culture programs and festivals
like mha pooja (self body worship), Kija pooja
( brother worship) in the month of November for the guest.
KDNH has the cozy Newari style and European style dining hall
with kitchen where it will provide special newari food taste.
